Scottish Rite Recreation Area

 

The recreation area is located at Lake Bloomington, about 10 miles north of Bloomington Normal..  Map

The facility has a lodge with dinning room, porch, bunk rooms, restrooms with showers, it can be rented for day events or overnight stays. There is also a pavilion with a fire ring for outdoor events close to the Lodge.

The Campground has several campsites with electricity and water hookups. there are 2 fire rings for fellowshipping with other campers. Campers must be a member of the Scottish Rite or the guest of a member.

Membership in the Bloomington Scottish Rite Campers Club gives you reduced rates for camping and 6 newsletters a year. There area several club campouts with potlucks and other events during the camping season.  There are approximately 50 families in the club.
